Cuties

One of my last days with just these two at home. What sweet children (no bias here!)

Bugz

Today Hailey has her kindergarten musical called "Bugz". They each got to choose their costume and of course, all of the girls in Hailey's class chose to be ladybugs. I made up this costume (as creative as I get) and she was thrilled (lucky that we didn't have to start over!). She woke up this morning at 5:00 a.m. and couldn't get back to sleep. She is SO excited. What a cutie.

1st bike ride

I took Alyssa on her first bike ride in the trailer the other day. She started out with smiles, but came home in tears. Hopefully, she'll get a hang of it and enjoy it.

Jitterbug Jamboree

A couple of weeks ago, Hailey's class had a jitterbug jamboree. They dressed up in 50's costumes and danced with each other. Hailey had no idea what the 50's were. It made me feel REALLY old (I feel like I at least knew what the 50's were in grade school!).

He's 10!

I can't believe that I have a 10 year old! He is such a wonderful boy and I'm so glad that he's in our family. He still has all of the energy and craziness that he's had all along, but I also see signs of maturity. Today, he grabbed my church bags out of the car without me asking him for help. He really tries to help Grant and Alyssa all of the time and I can see the young man that he soon will be. Happy Birthday Carter!

Saturday is a special day

Saturday was one of those great days where all of our children had great sporting events where they got a goal (or several) and had some great hits in baseball. We had 3 soccer games and a baseball game and each of the teams trampled the competition. I also managed to bring my camera (a rare event). Hopefully the rest of the season will go as well.

Sitting up

My baby is growing up WAY too fast! But what a happy baby she is.
